The Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan (CHSTP) seeks to improve economic and social opportunity by improving access and transportation to key services and destinations for persons with disabilities, older adults/seniors, and individuals with lower incomes in the Erie and Niagara Counties. The framework of the plan update includes identifying the transportation needs of individuals with disabilities, older adults, and people with low incomes, providing strategies for meeting these needs, and prioritizing transportation services for funding and implementation primarily through the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Enhance Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities (Section 5310) program.
